The Social Media Executive works within the Public Relations division. This division ****at GearUp Ghana is pivotal in sharing the organization's initiatives with stakeholders, ensuring they remain informed, educated, and encouraged to support GearUp's efforts.

Qualifications
While qualifications are essential, what we prioritize most for success in this role are passion, commitment, and a genuine interest in this cause.
- Passion and Commitment: A deep-seated interest in GearUp Ghana's objectives, paired with the motivation to amplify our voice across social platforms.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred. However, individuals with demonstrable social media management experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Prior experience managing corporate or NGO social media profiles, including content creation, posting, and engagement. Proven experience in growing and engaging an online audience is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in popular social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their respective analytics tools. Familiarity with social media scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Skilled in data collection and interpretation, with the capability to derive actionable insights from analytics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Interpersonal Skills: Adept at collaboration, able to effectively work with content creators, graphic designers, and other team members to produce cohesive and resonating social content.
- Creativity: Ability to craft compelling posts and campaigns tailored for each platform's audience.
- Availability: Able to commit a minimum of five (5) hours weekly.
